Summary & Canine Grooming Disclaimer
These Terms of Service govern your use of GroomPup. GroomPup is an interactive visual styling and creative makeover preview tool. Transformations and salon recipes are visual artistic representations to inspire haircuts and should always be reviewed with your certified pet grooming professional for your dog's individual safety and coat health.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using GroomPup (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VedsApp Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
2. AI Styling Previews & Canine Grooming Disclaimer
GroomPup uses generative artificial intelligence (including Apple Image Playground and simulated visual rendering) to produce imaginative representations of canine grooming styles, coats, accessories, and color highlights.
- Visual Previews Only: All generated images, groom blueprints, blade sizes, and scissoring guides are artistic previews intended for creative inspiration.
- Professional Discretion: Real dog coats, fur textures, skin sensitivities, and breed anatomies vary widely. You should ALWAYS consult a professional, certified canine groomer before cutting fur, scissoring near delicate areas, or applying pet-safe color products.
- Pet Safety First: Never attempt risky grooming procedures without proper professional training, pet-safe equipment, and pet-safe products.
3. Free Quota, Subscriptions & Billing (StoreKit 2)
- Free Tier Quota: GroomPup provides free users with 1 free AI dog makeover per calendar day. Daily quotas reset at midnight local device time.
- GroomPup Pro Subscription: Users may subscribe to GroomPup Pro ($2.99 / month or annual equivalent) to unlock unlimited daily makeovers, high-resolution 4K exports, and all premium creative styles and accessories.
- In-App Billing: Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions anytime through your iOS Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
4. Intellectual Property & User Content
- Your Photos: You retain all ownership rights and copyright in any original pet photographs you import into GroomPup.
- Processing License: You grant GroomPup the non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your photo solely for the purpose of executing the transformation requested by you.
- Generated Styles: You may freely share, export, and print your transformed dog makeover images and salon recipe cards for personal or salon consultation use.
- App Assets: All application code, user interfaces, branding, icons, blueprints, and design tokens are the exclusive intellectual property of VedsApp Studio.
5. Acceptable Use & Conduct
You agree to use GroomPup only for lawful, ethical purposes. You agree NOT to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or proprietary prompt engineering templates.
- Upload harmful, obscene, abusive, or non-canine content with the intent of circumventing Apple safety guidelines.
- Interfere with or bypass quota management or StoreKit receipt verification mechanisms.
6. Hardware Requirements & Apple Intelligence Availability
Native Apple Intelligence and Image Playground features require compatible Apple Silicon hardware (iPhone 15 Pro series, iPhone 16 series, A17 Pro+ iPads, or Apple Silicon Macs running iOS/iPadOS 18+).
On unsupported hardware devices or simulator environments, GroomPup provides high-fidelity offline CoreGraphics & CoreImage simulation modes. We do not guarantee hardware acceleration on devices below the minimum Apple Intelligence specification.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
GROOMPUP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
IN NO EVENT SHALL VEDSAPP STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING PET GROOMING INJURIES, MISCOMMUNICATIONS WITH SALON GROOMERS, OR LOSS OF SAVED DATA.
